Limited Quantities to go on sale June 4, 2025
TOKYO–May 30, 2025–ispace, inc. (ispace) (TOKYO: 9348), a global lunar exploration company, announced today that JINS Eyewear, a corporate partner, will release a collaboration model featuring HAKUTO-R, ispace’s commercial exploration program.
This model will be available for pre-order in limited quantities starting Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at the JINS online shop.
The collaboration model embodies the spirit of “resilience” and “advanced technology” that symbolizes HAKUTO-R. The frame features JINS’ proprietary material “JINS Flex Titanium™,” which combines flexibility and durability, and a hingeless design that provides a comfortable fit with minimal pressure.
Additionally, this frame model features “DURATECT,” a surface hardening technology developed by Citizen Watch Co., Ltd., a corporate partner of HAKUTO-R, and used in the landing legs of ispace’s Mission 2 RESILIENCE lander. This collaboration represents a technical partnership between two of ispace’s corporate partners. This processing makes the eyewear resistant to scratches and helps maintain its beauty and quality for an extended time.
This special collaboration model embodies the spirit of Going to the Moon and brings the world of HAKUTO-R closer to the wearer.

Future Missions
ispace is leveraging its global presence through its three business units in Japan, the U.S., and Luxembourg, for the simultaneous development of upcoming missions. Mission 2, featuring the RESILIENCE lunar lander, is led by ispace Japan and was launched on Jan. 15, 2025. It is currently scheduled to land on the Moon on June 6, 2025 (JST). During the mission, the TENACIOUS micro rover, developed by ispace Europe SA, is set to be deployed on the lunar surface to conduct a technological demonstration of regolith extraction as well as mobility on the lunar surface. Team Draper Commercial Mission 1 is also known as ispace’s Mission 3. Mission 3, debuting the APEX 1.0 lunar lander, is expected to launch in 2027. The company’s fourth mission, which will utilize the Series 3 lander, currently being designed in Japan, is scheduled to be launched by 2027.
